Aims and Scope

JCME will be publishing a Special Collection focusing on

Expanding the voices in CME-CPD

The goal of this Special Collection is to highlight different voices that are included in CME/CPD and how listening to and involving these voices adds value and impacts engagement across the professions, different stakeholder groups and around the world.

We are specifically seeking manuscripts that address, but are not limited to, the following categories:

  • Patients and their role, experiences and outcomes in CME-CPD

  • Team-based learning/interprofessional continuing education

  • Nurses and other allied health professionals

  • Postgraduate trainers

  • Medical, pharmacy and nursing schools

  • Paramedical organizations

  • Regulators and appraisers

  • Accreditors

  • Health information systems (big data)

Deadline for submissions is 31 July 2023

The Special Collection will be published during the fourth quarter of 2023.

More details can be found in the invitation letter, including information about article types, Article Publishing Charges (APCs), the possible discounts and waivers, and how to submit your article.
